What happens to a request
When intake is active, a request may be reviewed for basic location and project-type fit, then shared with one or more independent providers. A provider may contact the property owner. Submission does not guarantee a match, response, inspection or estimate.
Possible compensation
The website operator may receive compensation from a provider for a referral, qualified request, appointment or resulting customer relationship. Compensation can create an incentive to connect users with participating providers. It does not increase the homeowner’s obligation to hire anyone.
No ranking or endorsement promise
A match is not a claim that the provider is the best, least expensive or only available option. Unless expressly stated with a documented method, providers are not presented as independently ranked. Homeowners should compare options and perform their own due diligence.
Provider responsibility
Independent providers are responsible for their own identity, credentials, insurance, estimates, designs, utility coordination, permits, contracts, employees, subcontractors, work, cleanup and warranties. Questions about a project should be resolved in writing with the provider before work begins.
